Yoga has been a foundational practice for me since the age of 16. I look forward to being a lifelong student of the physical, spiritual, mental and emotional aspects of yoga. The life changing gifts that this practice has brought me are profound, and they motivate me to share the joy of yoga with others.
I completed a 200hr yoga teacher training in 2015, in the hatha and vinyasa styles. Since then I have explored many different styles of yoga and learned from wonderful and renowned contemporary teachers. I am studying and working towards a 500hr certification, focusing especially on the fields of anatomy, yoga for mood management, prenatal yoga, and yoga for aging. My life experience has also been shaped by a number of Vipassana meditation retreats, rich global perspectives, and transformational introspective ceremonies.
I specialize in teaching yin and hatha yoga, and I weave meditation and mindfulness practices into my sessions. Other areas of focus include pranayama and the chakra system.
It is my great joy and privilege to serve my community and to be a guide in your yogic explorations. No matter your age or experience, it is my honor to assist you on your journey of inquiry and discovery.
